Hi everyone!

As 2013 is coming to an end, Picture Polish and all the collaboration shade owners have gotten together to organise a little "Colab-Fest"

I can't believe it has been 8 months already, since Ocean was released! I absolutely have enjoyed seeing it on many other digits, both on blogs and IG etc. I always get compliments on this shade, and it makes me happy to know others love Ocean as much as i do! =)
Even since my shade has been released, there has been more awesome blogger collab. shades! I love everyones creativity and i always look forward to seeing whats next!

I've decided to re-swatch my shade, Ocean.

2 thick coats of Ocean. Blue jelly with scattered holo particles, Picture Polish is known for.
Even to this day, i absolutely adore Ocean. I have just about finished a whole bottle.

Ocean, and many other collab shades can be purchased directly from Picture Polish. The ship worldwide! You can also buy from these Network Members which might be easier if you aren't from Australia.

I want to thank all of you who have bought a bottle, shared your Ocean mani or even just given me some awesome feedback. Also a special thanks to Picture Polish themselves, because without them Ocean would not exist. Keep sharing your Ocean mani's!!!

Rainbow Honey - 20% Cooler (Femme Fatale Cosmetics review)

Hi everyone!

Sorry its been almost two weeks since my last post! Where has the time gone? I have a mountain of reviews to get through, and I'm sorry to those of you who are still waiting for me to review stuff, i haven't forgotten!

Today's post is Rainbow Honey's 20% Cooler.
I was not a lover of this polish when it first came out, i thought it was a mega glitter bomb with a blue base… how wrong was i…
It wasn't until i got a sample shade of it through Sophie, who runs Femme Fatale Cosmetics, that i actually really liked it once i had swatched it lol

20% Cooler has a sheer blue base with lots of shimmer, and multi coloured glitter in different sizes..
I layered 1 coat of 20% cooler over Face of Australia Once in a Blue Moon One coat of Out the door quick dry top coat followed.

You can buy 20% Cooler, as well as other Rainbow Honey shades directly from the Femme Fatale cosmetics website, Direct link HERE It is actually currently sold out =( but you can check the restock page at any time to find out when it will be back in stock. This is the best way to buy it if you reside in Aus. Sophie also ships internationally.

Delush Polish - Cirque Fantastique

Hi everyone!

I have another polish to show you, that was sent to me by Femme Fatale Cosmetics to review.
This is my first Delush Polish. I had actually never heard of this brand before, so sorry! haha

Cirque Fantastique

Cirque Fantastique has a white cream base with pink, blue and yellow gold squares, and pink and blue micro glitter. The application on this was perfect. I used three coats, but i think if thicker coats were used, i could have gotten way with just two coats. One coat of QD top coat was used also.
I love this polish! Cream based glitters are one of my favourites.
The square glitters in this did sink a bit, so a good shaking will help.

You can buy Delush polish from the Femme Fatale Cosmetics website, Direct link HERE. It retails on Sophie's (FFC) for Au $12 each. Sophie now also ships internationally too!

Love Thy Polish - A Beautiful Mistake

Hi all!

I have a beauty from Love Thy Polish to show you today!
I was kindly given this to review from Sophie, who owns Femme Fatale Cosmetics. She is our awesome Australian distributor for Aussie & international indie brands that may be hard to get here.

It's no secret that Love Thy Polish is one of my favourite brands. I have shown them here, on more than one occasion before, including LTP week.

I was so happy when i saw that i got "A Beautiful Mistake" in my review kit from FFC. Not only did i already have a bottle (untried, bad me!) i now have a back up bottle :D, and trust me, you will want a second one too!

A Beautiful Mistake is a dark blue linear holo. Simple as that, super stunning! This was two coats shown in all photos, with one coat of Out the door QD top coat. Formula was amazing and easy to work with.

Im actually still wearing this today, after wearing it all weekend. I had no chips up until last night when i was at work, but its the only reason i am taking it off now lol Such a beautiful colour and one i will wear again and again!

A Beautiful Mistake can be found here at Femme Fatale Cosmetics  along with a lot of Emma's other LTP polishes. They sell out quick, so you have to be quick. FFC also now ships internationally, so you can pick up this beauty just as easy if your living outside of Australia. This is also available through Emma's shop itself at Love Thy Polish.

Product sent to me by Femme Fatale cosmetics, for honest review.

Hope you all have a great week!!

Incoco Nail Polish Applique review!

Hi everyone!!

Hope you having an awesome start to your weekend!

I have a little review to show you today. Incoco kindly sent me a few of their nail polish strips to try out. They arrived the day before halloween, which was exciting because i had actually picked a halloween design in the hope they'd turn up before then :-D
They arrived just in time, because i wore these from Wednesday night, through halloween and up until last night. They held up very well, but unfortunately i have a wedding to attend today, so they had to come off last night. :-( *has a sad* - because these were freakin' adorable!

Onto the pics!!

I picked the "ghost" design. They're called "spooktacular" and you can find them HERE. If you haven't already guessed, these are Glow in the Dark!

They come with instructions on the back, and also on a leaflet in the packet.
These work a little different to you typical nail strips. These are used with real nail polish and are more flexible.

Incoco strips are made of three layers. A base coat, colour/design coat, and a top coat. You do not need to apply a base coat or top coat to these at all.

I picked out which one was the best fit for my nail and got them ready like so. You actually take the clear cover off before you tear them off the tabs that holds them all together.
*Incoco suggests to peel the backing paper off also before tearing them off the tabs, but i chose to do it this way got too excited and went ahead without reading the instructions. (I will do it the Incoco way next time and let you know which way was easier lol )

Also, unlike other nail strips i have tried, these have two sizes on each end, which was good, as i was in-between sizes on some. That also means, they will fit anyones nails.

Before you get started, lightly buff the tops of your nails to smooth out any ridges.
Then, after choosing the one that fits my pinky nail best, i took off the white backing paper and carefully placed the nail strip in place, starting from the cuticle. Line it up so it covers from side wall to side wall.
You have to be really careful with these, as they are very delicate. As you apply them, stretch them a little as you go so they adhere properly, and you don't end up with creases or wrinkles at the free edge.
I found that i ripped the first one i did when i was trying to reposition it, so be really careful!

Once it is in place and you are happy with it, give it a small stretch again at the free edge and pull down. Because these are so delicate, they are easy to tear off at the end if you choose, but otherwise use your nail file and lightly file the excess off in a downward motion.

It should end up like this.

Once your happy with that, smooth it all down again, to make sure you haven't missed any bits that might be sticking up i.e. cuticle area!

Repeat on all nails!
(mind my middle finger, i had a break, and did an acrylic overlay to save it)

And your all done! As mentioned before, you don't need a top coat, as these already come with a topcoat in the layers.
I did these at night, so excuse the pics, but here are some sun pictures i took the next day.

And then in the dark!! These are amazing! The most glow-y ever! lol

This one was taken last night right after i finished them, my lamp was still on, on my desk!

Last one is how glow-y they are after being in the sun for no more than 30 seconds!!! Can't believe how fast they charge up. I couldn't stop going into dark areas of the house just to have a look at them lol

You can buy Incoco from their website. They have lots of different designs from nail colour, nail designs, french manicure designs to pedi designs and colours. The prices range from $7.99 to $9.99 which is a great price as these last for up to 2 weeks!

Pretty Pots Polish review part 2

Hi all!

I have the second half of the awesome Pretty Pots Polish polishes to show today.

Grape Jam & Sugar

Grape Jam & Sugar has a light to medium purple base, with silver, pastel coloured and holo glitters, and purple micro glitters. This applied really well, i used two coats for photos, and one coat of quick dry top coat. A very pretty polish!

Pink Rainbows

Pink rainbows has a soft baby pink base with loads of shimmer and multi coloured hex glitter in different sizes. Reminds me a lot of Deborah lippmann Candy Shop, just not as jelly-ish. I used two coats for pictures. There is a teensy weensy bit of VNL still showing on some of my fingers but it didn't bother me at all. A third coat could be used but i loved it at 2 coats. One coat of quick dry top coat followed.

Euphoria.

This is probably my favourite out of all the ones i got for review. I am just loving orange, yellow and black all together at the moment. Definitely reminds me of Halloween and the american season of "Fall" even though its Spring here and we are heading into Summer :P
Euphoria is a glitter topper. Clear base with Orange and yellow glitters in hex and square, in different sizes and black bar glitter.
I layered this over different colours to see what it'd look like. My favourite is definitely over white.
Index - Ulta3 Lily White, Middle - Ulta3 Earl Grey, Ring - Ulta3 Black Satin, Pinky - B Bloom Bahamas.
There are a lot of people out there that don't like bar glitter. I for one absolutely love it, but layering it over black like my ring finger will hide the bar glitter ;)

Pretty Pots Polish is available from Jalene's Etsy Store for $9.50 each. Grape jam & Sugar, & Pink Rainbows are available now. Euphoria will be available tomorrow (Nov 1st) and will be part of the colour riot collection, which will contain about 10-12 polishes..

Pretty Pots Polish review Part 1

Hi all!!

I have an awesome new Aussie indie brand to show you today!
I was lucky enough to get 6 awesome shades to review. Today i will show you 3 of them

First up is Dreamless.

Dreamless is a soft sheer pastel white (if there is such a thing…. there is now! lol) It has an awesome flash of blue in it to give it a pearly white look. It is in no way streaking at all. It was absolutely wonderful to work with. I used three coats for photos. There was still a little bit of visible nail line, which actually didn't bother me at all, but you could always put a coat of white underneath to help, if NVL bothers you.

Next is Hydrangea Garden.

Hydrangea Garden has a beautiful lilac purple base with glitters of varying sizes and shapes, in purple, yellow gold and blue. This was two coats and one coat of quick dry top coat. The polish was really easy to work and i had no hassles with the glitters.

Both Hydrangea Garden & Dreamless are part of the Pastel love collection and are available now on her Etsy shop for $9.50 each.

Last up is Today i am fearless.
This is part of the Summer collection which is actually due out for release in a couple of days. I have another from this collection to show you tomorrow too. The collection will also release some christmas colours too.

Today i am fearless has a black crelly base with different sized red, silver & holographic glitters. It was too sheer for my personal liking, so i layered two coats over one coat of my go-to black, Ulta3 Black Satin. If you like a more glitter bomb type polish, this will build up on it's own in 3-4 coats. I then added one coat of my quick dry top coat.

Pretty Pots Polish is available from Jalene's Etsy Store for $9.50each. She also ships of out Australia.
