Happy Birthday to........ ME!

It's my birthday today! I don't know if i should be excited, because my fiancé did get me some awesome pressies... or sad, the fact that i'm now *gulp* 26! I know that may seem young to some of you but time has definitely flown by these last 8-10 years. wow! I remember when i was finally 18! now 8 years later, I'm wanting it to slow down.. even just a little bit.

Anyway, onto my mani for today.
I had a different mani in mind this morning but as i was doing this, only 45mins before i was supposed to leave for work, my mum rang half way through to wish me a Happy Birthday! (she lives in a different state). So i didn't get time to do what i had intended so i ended up with this:

Sorry, i know it's very simple but as i said, i just ran out of time. I do like this though. 

Base was 2 coats of Orly Gumdrop. 1 coat of Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday. Topped off with 1 coat of Seche Vite quick dry.

Weekend Mani!

We went to a BBQ yesterday to celebrate my friends daughter turning 1! Was such a nice and sunny day about 26 deg! This is the mani i wore!

I used china Glaze Liquid Leather. Then used Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday for a full accent nail and french on the other fingers! Then mattified the whole thing with Essie Matte about you!

NOTD & my purchases from the last week!

Today's nails are China Glaze's For Audrey. This is one of my favourite colours. It is not an exact dupe for the Tiffany & Co. Blue but it's pretty damn close.

This is 2 Coats.

Over the last week i bought the mini 6pk OPI Avojuice skin quenchers lotions. I got these at David Jones on sale for $12-95 instead of the $19-95 they normally are. I guess because we are out of summer heading into winter and that's wheni really need them most. I'm glad i waited a week or two to get these, i almost paid full price. hehe.

Jasmine, Raspberry Violet, Mango.

Cran & Berry is my favourite closely followed by coconut & Melon. Can't wait to try these and might have to get a full sized bottle of a couple of these for summer! 

I also received my package this week i've been waiting for.

I got 2 Deborah Lippman Polishes. I've never had any lippman polishes until now :-D

I haven't used these yet so i'm excited to try them.
