All these holo's are absolutely stunning and are very holo-y (yes, that's a word :P )

This was 2 coats, but could easily go on in one!

Smurf's got the Blues. A beautiful dark denim blue holo. Perfect in two easy coats.

Marine Dream. This is almost smack bang in the middle of the two above. It's a teal green holo. A little more green than blue than the pictures suggest. Two easy coats.

Cate Ruby - Emerald City

Hi everyone!

I have the second polish i received from Cate Ruby tonight to show you!
This one is called Emerald City.

Emerald City is a forest moss green. The finish is cross between a frost and a metallic. It is really quite a nice colour but no matter what i did, there were streak marks. Despite that, the formula was awesome!! This was two coats, no topcoat.

Cate Ruby polishes are availble from these stockists RRP $14.95
You can also keep up to date with latest new releases on their Facebook page.

Cate ruby polish provided for honest review.

Aussie Nails Monday - Green

Hi everyone!

I skipped last weeks ANM but i am back this week with a Green mani.
This is my first post this month that doesn't contain blue (for Autism). I was feeling a little uninspired when i knew it was green this week. I'm not a huge lover of green polish (unless it's today's polish lol) and i don't have many in my stash.

I wanted to do some kind of nail art but when i attempted a tape mani i screwed it up..... so no nail art lol

Here's a swatch of China Glaze I'm with the Lifeguard!

I'm with the Lifeguard is a bright in ya face lime green neon with a beautiful green shimmer. WOWZA'S!!!! This has to be one of my favourite greens ever!! If you don't know already - I love neons! Oh my!! When i first got this back in January (when i was away on holidays) i couldn't wait to try it but it was so gloopy i had to wait until i got home to add some thinner to it. It looked like it had been tried a couple times =( which really sh*ts me! These are totally different than normal neons, they don't need a white base colour. This was opaque in three coats.
I am really lemming the whole '12 Summer Neons collex now. I only have a couple because my heart belonged to the Poolside collex China Glaze did a couple years before, but these are truly wonderful!

25 Days of Christmas! Day 1

I am going to try and do a post every day until (and including) Christmas Day! I will have probably some random posts and as well as the obvious nails and nail art. If anyone has any suggestions as to what i should do (on anything christmas related to post) feel free to let me know!
We are going to kick this off with a simple Candy Cane pattern nail art.

I started with my normal base coat (OPI nail envy original). The base colour is China Glaze Ruby Pumps. I then striped 2 thin, 1 thick, 2 thin stripes with my white art deco striper. I then used a small brush and China Glaze Emerald Sparkle to stripe over the middle of the thick white line. I am in no way great at nail art or have much of a steady hand so please mind my wonky "lines" haha

Hope you have a great day.
See you tomorrow!

Ulta3 Spring/Summer Collection: Mojito & silly nail art!

So this is the last colour i have to show in the Ulta3 Spring/Summer collection.

Mojito is a Mint Green cream. I love this colour and i knew i would so i saved it for last! This was 3 coats. It was easy to apply.
Then i did some silly nail art! haha. I was going to stamp it with some "leaves" *cough* Marijuana *cough* because i don't have any plate that had leaves on it that remotely looked like mint. Yes, i actually have an image plate that has hemp on it but i thought that might have been a bit inappropriate to do! haha So for my not so good freehand ability, you can see a cocktail glass. *That'll do Donkey, That'll do!*

Hope you enjoy whats left of your weekend! See you soon!

Ulta3 Spring/Summer Collection: Lemons & Limes!

Seeing as i couldn't log into blogger yesterday, (I thought it was blogger but it was my computer haha!) I have 2 lots of nails to show today. I have, both from the Ulta3 Spring/Summer collection, Tahitian Lime & Frangipani!

Frangipani is a bright yellow cream. For me, this was probably one of the easiest yellows to work with so far. This was 3 coats.

Tahitian Lime is a bright lime green cream. 3 Coats.

When i put these colours on, i instantly thought of Lemons and Limes! So i thought i would do some stamping over the top!
Both stamped with Bundlemonster plate BM04, with Konad stamping polish in Black.

The lemon on my ring finger is stamped with the same BM plate BM04 and China Glaze Happy go Lucky. I didn't like it. It looked out of place because i didn't have a green to do the other hand and it didn't show up very well, so i stamped over it with the black limes to fit in.

Hope you all enjoy your Friday!

Enjoy your weekend!

Halloween Mini Series Nails #4

This is the last halloween mani that i have done. I hoped to have done a few more but i liked that i got 4 done! This mani is frankensteins! I think what i have come up with is really cute!

I started with 4 coats of Sinful Colors Irish Green! Yes 4! It could have taken another 1 or 2 but i was doing art so i didn't bother. Hair and eyes (black part) were done with China Glaze Liquid Leather and China Glaze snow for the white part of his eyes. Stitches and mouth were done with LA Colors striper polish in black.

Outside, Shade.

This one is my favourite! Baby Frankenstein!
(Sorry about the bloodspot thingy on my pinky, It's been
there for about a week, it's under the skin and i don't know how to get rid of it?)

He's going in Circles!

Thought i might do a different colour today. I didn't realise i did so many blues in row! I just seem to grab what i felt like wearing out of the draw and they all happened to be blues. Well, not Today! Today i have a green.... A Holo green!
This is China Glaze - He's going in Circles. It's from their 2006 Kaleidoscope Collection.
