Indie Month - The rest!

Hi everyone!
I am disappointed in myself that i hadn't gotten these up sooner and now have run out of days to fit them in. Not to worry because you get a spam of pics to look at today as i will fit them all in here lol

First up is the second Elevation Polish i was sent to review.

Toubkal.

Toubkal is an awesome dark vampy red toned purple with hints of red and gold irregular shaped shimmer. I'm not usually a vampy colour sort of person but i really loved this! I now have to tuck it away for next winter now lol. This applied very well and in two easy coats. No top coat was added.

This polish along with M'Goun which i reviewed earlier this month is available in her shop soon. Lulu restocks her shop on the 7th of every month but as far as i am aware has taken a little holiday and will be back in November.

I have the second polish from Peita's Polish.

Mermaid Tetris.

Mermaid Tetris is an awesome mix of purple & green square & purple micro hex glitters suspended in a clear base. In the bottle it looks so jam packed but once i put it on my nails, i was happy with the amout of glitter. I layer only one coat of MT over white. No top coat was added as in the pic below i ended up matte-ifing it.

This is available from Peita's Etsy shop now. She ships from Australia to anywhere in the world. She handmixes her polishes and uses stainless steel balls all the time.

This is from another Aussie, Kate Collins.

Night Swimming.

Night swimming is a beautiful dark indigo blue with aqua/turqouise glitter with holo sparkles. This applied well and was an easy one coater. Such a beautiful colour.
This is available from her Etsy store now. Unfortunately for alot of you, she only ships within Australia.

Last but definitely not least, is F4.

Pink Penquin.

Pink Penquin is an awesome mix of black and white matte micro hex and medium sized pink matte hex's all suspended in a clear base. I am truely in love with this polish and I think i am in love with the combination i came up with. I layered one coat of PP over one coat of FingerPaints Choco Mint. No topcoat was added but it definitely needs a coat.

F4 polishes can be purchased off their Etsy store. Their polishes are handmixed and 3-free. They also use stainless steel mixing balls.

So that was all of this months Indie polishes. I really had fun reviewing everyones polishes.
Please all stay tuned because tomorrow kicks off the awesome giveaway for some of these polishes and more. I am also starting a halloween challenge for the month of October as well.

Take care!

Indie Month - Wonder Beauty Products Hippie Fest & Lollipop Explosion

Today i have the second and third polish from Wonder Beauty Products to show you!

Up first is Hippie Fest!

Hippie fest is a glitter fest full of multi coloured shredded and silver micro glitter. Application was awesome. Here i have one coat of Hippie Fest over two coats of Essence Raspberry Swirl, then topped off with one coat of Seche Vite.

The second polish is Lollipop Explosion.

Lollipop Explosion is packed full of different colours and types of glitter suspended in a sheer milky white base. Shapes include - Hex (small and large), Square, Bar, Shredded and i think Triangle but i can't work out if it's just shredded that way. The thin bar glitter has a very slight curl to it but it wasn't a problem on the nail. Colours include - Orange, Red, Green, Blue & Purple.
Top pic is two coats on it's own.
Below pics are all one coat over my go-to white. All topped with one coat of Seche Vite.
I really think i should have mattified it! I think it would have looked awesome! You could always Jelly sandwich it too!

You can find these polishes and many others on Jen's Etsy shop. This polish retails for $10 USD. She ships internationally. Jen's polishes are hand mixed, 3-free & animal cruelty free and she always uses stainless steel mixing balls.

Hi all.
Get ready for another awesome Indie! Today i have the second polish from Darling Diva Polish

Stripper Pole is a Gold linear holo with lots of medium and small holo hex's. Very simple, very awesome! I'm not a big fan of gold's but this is amazing. The holo in this is a bit subtle but it looks awesome in the sun. I didn't have any problem at all with application. This was three easy coats, followed by one coat of Seche Vite.

Now for more pics!

Stripper Pole is available on DDP's Etsy shop now, along with many others. This polish retails for $12 USD. Her polishes range from $8USD to $12USD. She ships internationally. She hand mixes all her polishes and always uses stainless steel mixing balls.

Indie Month - Daring Digits Mango Square

Hi everyone!

I have the second polish from Ashley over at Daring Digits to show you today, and that polish is Mango Square.

Mango square is orange/gold glitter squares with small white hex's suspended in a clear base. As usual with clear suspension base you know the application is going to be awesome, it's just then up to the glitter to make it awesome! I really love this polish. Something about it just makes it so simple and can be used over anything. Here i have layered it over white and below i have layered it over black.

Excuse the messy clean up, i ran out of acetone and had to resort to the crappy polish remover i had on hand at the time.

Ashley has recently changed over from her 15ml "fan" shaped bottles to an awesome 16.5ml bigger square bottle with a more simple logo. I love it and it fits right in my helmer with the other sqaure ones.
You can purchase this polish and more of hers on her Etsy Shop. She handmixes her polishes and always uses stainless steel mixing balls. You can also keep up to date with her on her Facebook Page.

Guest post!

Hi all.
Just thought i'd chuck in an extra post today.

The lovely Bec over at Nail Guns XS (another awesome Aussie) asked if i wanted to do a guest post on her blog while she has to be absent for a little while. I definitely said yes!
Please go check out my post over on her blog, and perhaps follow her page too!

Thanks dude & dudettes!

Indie Month - Elixir Lacquer With a K!

Hi all,
Full steam ahead to the end of this week now. I will have a post each day for the rest of the week to fit in all of the polishes i have for this month, then it's giveaway time! Yippee!

Today, i have a polish from Nicole over at Elixir Lacquer (also from Nail Polish Wars) I was kindly given two of her polishes. One to review and one to giveaway. This time they will be different polishes. I will be reviewing "with a K" and the one for the giveaway? You'll have to wait and see ;)

With a K is a gorgeous pink jelly with medium sized holo hex's and holo glitter. I had no trouble with application. This was three coats and you can still see some VNL, but i can get past that because it's an awesome colour! No top coat was added for photo's.

Nicole's polishes are available from her website. Her polishes are always 3-free and cruelty free.
She also uses stainless steel mixing balls and her polishes are hand mixed. You can also keep up to date with her on her Facebook page.

Indie Month - Peita's Polish Observatory

We are over half way through Indie month now and i need to get my butt into gear and finish up swatches and pics for the giveaway at the end of the month. I have been a bit slack and a bit busy and have been putting it off. No excuse as the end of the month is fast approaching.
I have lots of goodies going into the giveaway and today's polish is one of them. My pal Peita over at Peita's Polish, who is an Aussie i might add, sent me two beauties to review and two to giveaway. Today i will be showing you Observatory.

I love the name of this and i think it is very fitting. If you hate bar glitter, sorry this is not for you! I for one love bar glitter (and holo bar glitter at that) and love this polish. In the bottle there seems to be heaps of bar glitter but only a little transfers to the nail. This is a jam packed holo-fest going on. Everything in here is holo! It has small giltter, large hex's, bar glitter and even has holo stars!! It's awesome. Application was great and i layered one coat of Observatory over my go-to black. I followed up with one coat of Seche Vite.

You can buy this and lots of Peita's other polishes from her Etsy shop. She ships from here in Australia and ships worldwide. Her polishes retail for $9 AUD. She hand mixes her polishes and always uses stainless steel balls. You can also keep up to date with her on Facebook!

Indie Month - Devilish Polish Erin

Hi everyone!
Another instalment today of my Indie month.
I have the second polish from Devilish Polish today. If you remember in my last post on Devilish Polish Ann, i said that two of the three polish from her broke in the post. Erin was one that had broken but i was able to scoop up enough for a review.

This is Erin.

Erin is a beautiful Aqua blue. I cannot comment on the formula or consistency because what i did get to scoop up i had to add thinner to. This was two coats though. It was a little streaky but it was fine to work with and you could overlook this because it's such a beautiful colour.

Devilish Polish is available from Kelly's website. She sells them for $5 each which is an awesome price! She also ships internationally.
