Love Thy Polish - A Beautiful Mistake

Hi all!

I have a beauty from Love Thy Polish to show you today!
I was kindly given this to review from Sophie, who owns Femme Fatale Cosmetics. She is our awesome Australian distributor for Aussie & international indie brands that may be hard to get here.

It's no secret that Love Thy Polish is one of my favourite brands. I have shown them here, on more than one occasion before, including LTP week.

I was so happy when i saw that i got "A Beautiful Mistake" in my review kit from FFC. Not only did i already have a bottle (untried, bad me!) i now have a back up bottle :D, and trust me, you will want a second one too!

A Beautiful Mistake is a dark blue linear holo. Simple as that, super stunning! This was two coats shown in all photos, with one coat of Out the door QD top coat. Formula was amazing and easy to work with.

Im actually still wearing this today, after wearing it all weekend. I had no chips up until last night when i was at work, but its the only reason i am taking it off now lol Such a beautiful colour and one i will wear again and again!

A Beautiful Mistake can be found here at Femme Fatale Cosmetics  along with a lot of Emma's other LTP polishes. They sell out quick, so you have to be quick. FFC also now ships internationally, so you can pick up this beauty just as easy if your living outside of Australia. This is also available through Emma's shop itself at Love Thy Polish.

Product sent to me by Femme Fatale cosmetics, for honest review.

Hope you all have a great week!!

Love Thy Polish - The holo's!

Hi all!

It's the end of Love Thy Polish week and even though i didn't post yesterday i have three awesome holo's to show you today to make up for it lol

These are due to be released on Thursday 15th Aug. So get your wallets ready as these are beautiful!!
All these holo's are absolutely stunning and are very holo-y (yes, that's a word :P )

First up,

Green Eyed Monster. A beautiful forest green holo. A little less blue than the pictures suggest.
This was 2 coats, but could easily go on in one!

Smurf's got the Blues. A beautiful dark denim blue holo. Perfect in two easy coats.

Marine Dream. This is almost smack bang in the middle of the two above. It's a teal green holo. A little more green than blue than the pictures suggest. Two easy coats.

If you're living in Australia, Love Thy Polish can be purchased directly from her website "Love Thy Polish" Most of her polishes are AU$9.50, Mini's are AU$6.50 but they are a big 8ml mini's. Holo's are AU$12.

If your living outside of Australia, Sorry this is not available but please check out MeiMei's Signatures as she has selected shades available, with worldwide shipping.

If neither option above suits, please beg and beg your closest vendor to stock Love Thy Polish ;)

AN Monday - Hearts!

Hi all!

This week's AN Monday theme is "Hearts"

I have been wearing just plain black nail polish since Friday night as i had planned on doing some other nail art during the weekend, but hadn't gotten around to it. So i decided to just do my Hearts mani last night straight over the top.

On my thumb and ring finger, i stamped the hearts design from plate BM-317 (series 3 of the Bundle Monster set) with Color Club Miss Bliss. I then used striping tape and taped off the three other fingers in various ways, and used Miss Bliss again. It was mainly to cover the tip wear i had lol. I am not a fan of my index and middle finger. The pinky is passable but i had way too much polish on the brush. I think it could have come out better. I topped it all off with Konad special top coat, which i absolutely adore and have rekindled my love for! It's super fast drying and doesn't smudge.

There was no sun out this morning when i was taking photos so i resorted to taking a few in the bathroom under the fluro haha. Its about as good as i was going to get to see some holo today =(

Then when i left for work... the sun came out!! Doh!! lol

What do you think?

Have a great week!

ANM + AA - Color Club Over the Moon + Stamping!

Hi all!
It's that time of the week again!!

+

This weeks theme for Aussie nails Monday is "Candy" or lollies if your Australian :P
Because it is still Autism Awareness month i wanted to keep in with the blue nails, so i have paired my blue nails in with my Candy mani.

First of all, excuse my nubs!! I broke three nails the other day and had to file them all back. They look horrible at the moment. I just got my Duri Rejuvacote though so i am looking forward to having awesome nails!

My base colour today was Color Club Over the Moon, which is classified as a pale blue but i didn't think it was. It's a darker blue than that but not quite a medium kind of blue, definitely darker than their 2012 Halo Hue polish "Blue Heaven" This is just about a one coater but i used two coats, just because i think that is what a blogger should do. Above photos taken in artificial light.

Then you go outside... and BAM!!!
Hoollo!

Be still my heart!! How i love holo's!! <3

For the addition of making it fit in with the theme of ANM this week, which as you know is "candy", i cracked open my stamping folder and gear which i haven't used it ages!!!

Follow my Instagram!!

I used my Konad special white polish for all stamping.
Plates i used were:
Konad M14
BM 02
BM-306
BM-322

Let me know what you think!
Also, i have an instagram (@kellyskolors) if your interested in following me! I have a few more bits n pieces on there too, including my awesome Helmers which i have just finished painting! I will have a post on that coming up soon too!

Great Aussie Polish Challenge Day 4: Glitter Gal 3D/Holo Red

Hi everyone!
Back for day 4 of the Great Aussie Polish Challenge. Usually it's Glitter me up Friday today but i am actually pushing that into tomorrow. I totally wasn't ready for GMUF, so it will be GMU Saturday lol.

Glitter Gal Red holo is just that! It's a Red linear holo. The holo effect came out alot more IRL than in the pics. =(
This was two coats, no topcoat. I've decided i hate wearing a topcoat when i'm trying to get pics in the sun of gorgeous polish's. It just has too much glare and shiny-ness to it and i want you all to see how it looks without topcoat. I usually put a topcoat on after pics if i'm wearing it for the whole day =) Formula on this and the GG's i have used so far are superb! I do barely any cleanup when i wear a GG, it just glides on.

See you tomorrow for Glitter me up Friday Saturday!

Glitter me up Friday - Glitter Gal Orange Sparkle

Hi all!
Sorry for the lack of posts in the last week, i think my last post was glitter friday too! I will definitely try to get more posts up this week, plus you don't want to miss out on what i have for you all on Monday!
But today i have yesterdays post to show you.

Tara over at osiris and loki paint their nails, came across some old Glitter Gal polishes that she scored for $1 & $2. She picked up a bunch of them and asked if anyone wanted to do a swap. I definitely emailed her straight away and we had a swap organised. I sent her package on Monday and she did the same. They both arrived to us on Thursday morning. I decided to do my nails in this orange one for today yesterday.

The label just says Orange but it's from Glitter Gal's Sparkle range. It is a peachy type orange with a holo micro glitter. This was two coats. I love glitter gal polishes. They are so easy to apply because their formula kicks arse! No topcoat was applied.

Holo Shatter franken - Shattered Meteorite!

Hi all!
I had a totally different post in mind for today but i decided to change it at the last minute. As i sat down to read everyones blogs i came across a fellow Aussie blog i have been following since she started up,  Osiris and Loki paint their nails. I was inspired by her post today on a holo shatter. She came up with the point that no one had ever made one. As soon as i saw her awesome holo shatter polish i knew i had to try it myself. This is my attempt and i'm very happy with how it turned out.

I have named this Shattered Meteorite!

What i used:
OPI Black Shatter (or any black shatter will do)
Spectra Flair
Empty polish bottle (i used a 3.75ml empty seche vite bottle)

I poured the Black Shatter into the empty bottle almost to the top then added 2 small (and i mean small) scoops of spectra flair and then shake, shake, shake!

I put this over two coats of Ulta3 Lily White. I topped it all off with one coat of Seche Vite.
Enjoy the rest of the photos!

Hope you all liked! I am going to try and make another holo shatter in a different colour.

Please check out osirisandlokipainttheirnails's Silver holo shatter.

See you next time!
