Indie Month - Amy's Nail Boutique Daisy!

Hi all!
Back for another day of Indie polishes. I'm really crappy with what to say when starting blog posts so i'm just going to get straight into it.
Today, i have a polish from Amy's Nail Boutique. This is called Daisy.

Daisy has an awesome mix of large white and medium/smaller orange and yellow gold hex glitter suspended in a clear base. This is meant for layering. I don't think you could build it up to be opaque, even if you used the whole bottle, haha.
I layered two coats of Daisy over two coats of Ulta3 Pacific Fever (which i haven't even swatched for my blog yet, until now)
This is an odd combination but somehow i really like it! lol I finished this off with one coat of Seche Vite.

Daisy and more polishes from Amy's Nail Boutique can be found on her Etsy store. Her polishes retail for $8 USD and she ships internationally. She only uses stainless steel mixing balls. You can also keep up to date on her Facebook page.

Indie Month - Gloss 'n Sparkle Cotinga!

Hi all!
Today i have an awesome Aussie Indie polish makers polish to show you. This is from the awesome Angela from Gloss 'n Sparkle. She kindly sent me one for review.

This is Cotinga.

Cotinga is jam packed with lots of Purple, Lavender/Lilac, Blue, Turquoise Teal and Silver hex glitter of varying sizes. There also seems to be a little bit of shredded glitter in there too. It is all suspended in a clear base. I'm not a glitter bomb sort of person but this is one awesome polish! I didn't try this by itself but it would take so many layers to get it opaque. I layered this (two thinnish coats) over my usual black polish, Ulta3 Black Satin. I finished it off with one coat of Seche Vite.

This polish and many others of Angela's are available on her Etsy Shop. Her polishes are 3-Free and she always uses stainless steel mixing balls. Unfortunately, at this time, she only ships within Australia via road transport. You can also keep up to date on her latest and new polishes on her Facebook page.

Indie Month - Devilish Polish Ann!

Hi Everyone!
Back for another day of Indie month!! Yay!

I got in contact with Kelly from Devilish polish to do a review of her polishes. She sent me three of her polishes but unfortunately two of them broke in transit! Boo you posties! I decanted what was left of them into empty bottles i had lying around.
Today i will be showing you the one that survived the ride over.

This is Ann!

Ann is a beautiful rosey pink with some shimmer. You can see lots of brush strokes but it isn't that bad IRL. This applied very easily with minimal clean up. The formula was awesomesauce! No topcoat was added.

I love her bottles! Everything about this is awesome. She has the name of the polish ontop (refer to the first pic) and a small label on the front. Neat and precise.
This polish and more of hers are available on her store (link below) At the moment, she just has the three polishes.

Indie month - Darling Diva Polish - Roller Girl.

Hi everyone!
I have another awesome polish to show you today. This is from Darling Diva Polish.

This is Roller Girl.

Roller Girl has a sheer-ish black base with lots of multi coloured small and medium hex glitters and silver micro glitter. I layered two thin-ish coats over my one-coater black polish, Ulta3 Black Satin. The formula on this was amazing. I didn't try this on it own but i think you'd need 3 or 4 coats for opacity. There was a perfect amount of glitter for my liking and i didn't have to fish around for any.

Roller Girl is available on DDP's Etsy shop now along with many others. This polish retails for $8 USD. Her polishes range from $8USD to $12USD. She ships internationally. She uses stainless steel mixing balls in all her polishes.

Indie Month - Wonder Beauty Products - Be Gentle!

Hi everyone!
I really need to keep up with my postings more. I have been so busy this last week, i'm actually getting my Etsy shop up and running. It is running now but i have so much more i still want to put up there. I am making nail polish jewellery, magnets & keyrings and things like that. Please check it out and let me know what you think. I will be hoping to put more stuff up there this weekend when i get a chance =)

Anyway, onto today's post! I have the first of three beauties to show you from this brand. I absolutely adored reviewing her polishes. That brand is Wonder Beauty Products.

This is Be Gentle.

Be Gentle has a pale blue base with medium sized gold hex's, small blue & gold hex's (at some angles this looks a pinky gold tone) and a sparse gold micro glitter. The application was awesome and effortless. I used three coats of above pics and the one below. You can still see some VNL but it's not much at all. Awesome to wear alone or over another colour (see below). I didn't have to fish around for glitters which is awesome! No top coat was added.

I decided to see what it'd look like over another colour. I wore one coat of Be Gentle over two coats of Ulta3 Blue Heaven.

You can find this polish and many others on Jen's Etsy shop. This polish retails for $10 USD. She ships internationally. Jen's polishes are hand mixed, 3-free & animal cruelty free and she always uses stainless steel mixing balls.

Indie Month - Elevation Polish McGoun

Hi everyone!

Today i have the second post for Indie Month! Yay!
The awesome Lulu from Elevation Polish & I dig Brown nail polish sent me two (of the four) upcoming polishes from her new collection called "Morocco" Like always her polishes are named after mountains, so obviously with this collection, each polish is named after mountains in Morocco. I love that she has a theme to her brand and has stuck with it through out.

I have the polish "M'Goun" to show you today.

Two coats, no base colour. Seche Vite top coat.

M'Goun has a sandy micro hex glitter suspended in clear. This is very unique. As soon as i saw this, i knew i'd love it. Top picture is two coats alone with one coat of seche vite.

Below i have layered two coats of M'Goun over a nude polish. This has no topcoat. The texture when dried is amazing. It is definitely like i have just dipped my wet polish into sand haha. Is it weird that i like the feeling??

Sun, nude base colour, two coats of M'Goun, no topcoat.

With the texture of this polish being a bit rough, you need to probably use two coats of top coat. Below i have only used one. I used Seche Vite.
Unfortunately the forumula with this was very thick. I actually used thinner to thin it down a bit to make it manageable. I still really love the polish but that was a bit of a let down. Hopefully Lulu can control this before her collection comes out.

Sun, Nude base colour, two coats of M'Goun, one coat of SV.

Shade, Nude base colour, two coats of M'Goun, one coat of SV

This is due for release in October, I believe around the 7th? She restocks her shop on the 7th of every month. They retail for $8-$10 USD. She ships worldwide. All her polishes are hand mixed and at least 3-free (some are 5-free), she also uses stainless steel mixing balls with all her polishes.
At this time, she doesn't have a facebook page but you can check her and her shops here:
